Dental implantation is an alternative method of treatment of adentia (toothlessness). During dental implantation, an artificial root (implant) is placed in the bone, on which the permanent tooth (crown) is fixed.
Dental implantation using a digitally created ruler (template) represents a revolution in modern dentistry. Today, the implantation is performed in the Medi clinic with digital technology, i.e. computer planning, without any fee.
Implantation with digital technology consists of several stages:
Stage 1 – detailed examination of bone tissue with 3D computer technology.
Stage 2 – scanning of the oral cavity and preliminary modeling of the missing tooth with a special computer program.
Stage 3 – digital processing of the modeled tooth(s) and precise determination of the shape and size of the implant to be made. The location of the implant insertion in the bone tissue is determined with ideal accuracy.
Stage 4 – dental implantation using a digitally made guide (template).
