Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 2026
This policy explains how Medi Clinic collects and processes the personal data you leave on the laser hair removal page — whether through the booking form or by contacting us on a messenger.
1. Who processes your data
The data controller is Medi Clinic, 52 Kostava Street, Tbilisi, Georgia. For any questions, contact us at info@medi.ge or 32 2910000.
2. What we collect
We collect only what is needed to arrange your appointment.
- From the booking form: your full name, phone number, and the treatment area and branch you select (if you provide them).
- Technical data: IP address, browser type and the time of your visit — for security and spam protection.
- Analytics cookies — only if you consent to them.
- Information about how you reached our page — for example, which advert or link you followed — so we can measure how well our advertising works.
- If you contact us on WhatsApp, Telegram or Messenger, that conversation runs through the relevant platform and is also subject to its own terms.
3. Why we process it
We use the information you provide in order to:
- contact you and agree a time for your appointment;
- help you select treatment areas and tell you the price;
- answer your questions about the procedure;
- improve how the site works (using aggregated, anonymous statistics only).
4. Legal basis
We process your data on the basis of the consent you give when submitting the form. You may withdraw that consent at any time by writing to info@medi.ge. Withdrawal does not affect processing carried out before it.
5. Who we share it with
We do not sell your data and do not pass it to third parties for marketing. Access is limited to:
- Medi Clinic staff who arrange appointments;
- the hosting provider whose server runs this site;
- analytics services (Google Analytics, Meta) — only if you have consented to cookies;
- Meta Platforms (Facebook, Instagram): when you submit the booking form, we send a hashed (irreversibly scrambled) version of your phone number, your IP address and browser details, so we can measure which ad led to the enquiry. We never send Meta the area you chose or any other health-related information;
- authorised state bodies, and only where the law requires it.
6. How long we keep it
Booking requests are kept for as long as is needed to serve the appointment and follow up on it, and in any case no longer than 24 months. After that the data is deleted or anonymised. Medical records relating to your health are kept for the period set by law.
7. Your rights
Under Georgian law you have the right to:
- ask what data we hold about you;
- have inaccurate data corrected or updated;
- ask us to delete your data or stop processing it;
- withdraw consent you previously gave;
- receive your data in a structured format;
- lodge a complaint with the Personal Data Protection Service of Georgia.
8. Cookies
Essential cookies are used to make the site work and the page cannot function correctly without them. Analytics cookies are only enabled after you accept them in the notice at the bottom of the page. If you decline, the page still works in full.
9. Security
Data is transmitted over an encrypted connection and stored on a server with restricted access. Only authorised staff can reach the admin panel, each with their own account.
10. Changes
This policy may be updated from time to time. When it is, the date at the top of the page changes with it.
