Contour plastic allows you to correct congenital and age-related changes on the face without harm to health or complex plastic surgery. This minimally invasive procedure can reduce nasolabial folds, change the shape of the lips, and achieve a clear oval face in just one visit to a cosmetologist!

About the method

During contouring, the doctor uses a thin needle to inject a hyaluronic acid-based gel under the skin. Then it distributes it, giving the desired shape to the corrected area. The fillers themselves differ from each other in density. The choice of filler density depends on the area that needs to be corrected.

Progress of the procedure

The procedure does not require special preparation. However, three days before the procedure it is necessary to exclude alcohol, and 10-14 days – drugs that affect blood clotting. It is also recommended to limit sun exposure a week before contouring.

The procedure is painless – the drugs include painkillers, and thin needles are used for injections. Also, contour plastic surgery involves application of anesthesia.

  • On the day of the procedure, the doctor conducts an examination and consultation. Eliminates the presence of possible contraindications, determines the skin type, specifies the desired result and recommends the desired filler.
  • Immediately after the examination, the specialist cleanses the skin, injects filler into pre-marked areas and evenly distributes the composition over one or several areas. After this, the skin is treated with an antiseptic solution.
  • A few days after the procedure, a second consultation is scheduled to check the result.

Instant results

The effect of the procedure is noticeable immediately after it is performed. Contour plastic:

  • smooths out wrinkles;
  • makes the oval of the face clearer;
  • eliminates asymmetry;
  • changes the shape and size of the lips;
  • corrects the lower third of the face;
  • reduces the nasolacrimal groove;
  • gives a new, aesthetic shape to any part of the face: chin, cheekbones, tip of the nose and cheeks.

Over time, fillers are removed from the body, so the procedure is repeated every six months or once a year.

Rehabilitation

Immediately after the procedure, slight swelling and redness may occur on the skin. These are the body’s natural reactions to the injection. They go away within a few hours.

There is no recovery period after contouring. But to achieve a more pronounced effect and maintain results for as long as possible, the doctor may recommend following the following recommendations:

  • avoid direct sunlight;
  • for several days after injections, avoid visiting the solarium, bathhouse, sauna, swimming pool, gym;
  • for the first 2–3 days after the procedures, avoid decorative and caring cosmetics (at least do not apply them to the area where fillers were introduced);
  • for some time, excluding cosmetic facial massage and other procedures that require direct contact of hands with facial skin.

If necessary, the doctor will give additional recommendations.
